Sorry for the English language post.......

Post by Snev »

Just bought a Sur-ron E bike earlier......... to take on the back of our Motorhome...... It's road registered and legal, with a 40 mile range anda 50mph top speed ( unrestricted) it only weighs 50 kg's so it will fit on the rear bike rack......... don't tell Sammy but it cost £4500............. but I reckon it's a good buy all things considered......
Ok, I confess.......

Handy for short trips, but how would you charge it if you went away for a week?

The biggest frustration for me is not being able to walk very far ..... even the battery bike takes a fair bit of effort to peddle and hills are very hard work, so this Bike should be Ideal......... It's difficult to explain but the Lungs don't work very well and all activity is a bit of an issue.... apparently I have less air in my lungs than someone at the top of Everest !
Ok, I confess.......

Checked it out.... apparently it'll charge via a 240 volt socket so It'll be fine as we have Inverters that provide 240 and like the other bike, It'll charge whilst driving along or stationary if off grid....
Ok, I confess.......

Bad lungs are horrible

I've had pneumonia twice. Left me in a mess the second time. Took me years to recover.

Feel for you.
