Good long day yesterday.

Dunster, what a lovely place. Deffo going back for a deeper tour.
Porlock Weir, what a surprise, not what we were expecting.
Ilfracome, Like the big Damian Hurst statue.

Lots of stops in places on the in between.
Knackered when we got back at about 7pm.

Today we are heading, Tavistock, Tintagel, Boscastle, and a couple of places on the "Nev" list.

Yesterday could not find Mother Meldroms place..........has it gone?????? But found "Valley of the Rocks".

Dunster is lovely and well worth exploring.... The Castle is good. Mother Meldrums is set in a little wall enclosed area near the Cricket Pitch, It might be closed due to covid though. That whole area is full of lovely places to visit, I still find the occasional new place even now...... It would be well worth staying there for a week or two. Try to visit Tintagel Castle if you can.
Ok, I confess.......

Started at Tintagel yesterday morning. It was bloody freezing. Called in Camelot Hotel for coffee and to warm up. King Arthur was not around.
Upto Boscastle for lunch and a good walk round. Showed Shirley the witches museum, didn't want to go in as i feel sure they would not let Shirley out :-S
walk around Tavistock next.
Then most of the afternoon on Dartmoor, wow wow wow. Two Bridges and so much more. Tiny little bridges, picturesque picnic spots at the side of babbling rivers, superb, love it, i want to go back. Went from extreme west to extreme east on the moors and roads and lanes inbetween.
Today Bude, Clovelly and a couple of others.
