Women in Moto

Post by Ninjachica » Sat Aug 19, 2023 8:29 am

2 day event this year.

Last 2 years have been in Tutbury, but this year it is at uttoxeter racecourse.

Still get a few patronising gits, but mostly it is very positive.
Excellent speakers
Stuff to buy
And cakes

I shall be on my way shortly, on the strom, before i head off to the NC500 tomorrow.

Well.
Zero patronising gits
Coppers doing stunts
Spent too much
The speakers i watched were inspiring

It was bloody windy
Only one stall selling ladies kit (lots of others selling other stuff)
Test rides on hondas

Pretty good day out

Glad I'm not camping there 😁

It sounds a pretty positive sort of event, but I'm surprised there wasn't more ladies clothing. Was it MotoGirl? If not, perhaps I should drop a word in someone's ear, ready for next year.

Last weekend I was at Betteshanger Sprint and although I was officially doing the Triumph Owners stand, my race buddies were all sprinting and the ladies hanging out in our team pit (a trio of gazebos) outnumbered the men.
They are probably the most positive and supportive women I know.

Yes, it was motogirl.

I have 4 pairs of their trousers, even tjough i don't particularly rate them. Maybe 7/10.

But, i bought a pair of their overtrousers.
Had them on gor the first time today. They fitted quite well, but the rain passed us by, so no proper review. Tomorrow will test them out!

There should be more women in motorcycling ,
Very few bikes have a reverse gear so not a lot can go wrong .

Now I'm off to hide before Mrs. Bee reads that comment and comes looking for me . ;-)
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !
